1. Lavender

Lavender essential oil has antifungal and antibacterial properties that help heal a sunburn quicker. Just mix a few drops of lavender oil with aloe vera gel and massage onto the affected skin.

Frankincense essential oil hydrates and nourishes skin that is damaged by sunburn. Mix one to two drops of frankincense oil with aloe vera gel and massage onto the sunburned area.
